Legend:

  • Warren uses Tungsten Fabric (TF) as an SDN solution

  • TFc is essential component in both full- an partial Warren installations

  • TF control node is central unit of SDN

  • Every hypervisor (host) has vRouter instance installed

  • Each vRouter creates separate VRF (Virtual Routing and Forwarding table)  for each particular subnet for which a Virtual Machines are created.

  • Full mesh MP-iBGP is configured by TF between itself and all vRouters

  • Overlay tunnels (currently only MPLS over GRE) are used to carry data plane traffic

  • TF Control node acts as Router Reflector in whole MP-iBGP domain

  • Site Edge Router acts as SDN Gateway
